Team Challenges
Team Challenge Day events at the Farm
Care Co-ops has, for a number of years now, forged links with local businesses in the corporate sector by running Team Challenge Days at the Community Farm. This process has been co-ordinated by the Brighton and Hove Business Community Partnership. So far during 2006, six business groups have attended from The Argus, American Express, EDF Energy and Family Investments. Each group is assigned a specific task to work on to help develop or maintain the Farm site, while at the same time supporting their organisation's team building requirements.
The Farm regularly receives positive feedback concerning the Team Challenges and the work contributed by people participating on these Challenges continue to bring a huge benefit to the Farm, both in terms of the work completed and the contributions made towards supervision and materials. Some organisations have returned to complete further Challenges for several years now.
