Service User Involvement
Involvement, Choice and Control
Service user involvement: we aim to empower users of our services to participate in the management of the organisation, as well as the management and planning of the service in which they are supported within.
Service user involvement enables people to advise us and making recommendations to the Management Team, to drive service improvements, quality and choice. We deliver a programme of service user involvement, support and training for more details contact Rachel.Laidlaw@careco-ops.org.uk or telephone: 01273 685300

Service user involvement: Commissioning
We aim to increase service user choice and control by enabling users of services to have a say in what programs are delivered. We do this by supporting service users to commission the services which they want to participate in. This works by service users having control over identified budgets and by selecting activities from a range of proposals. Care Cooperatives commissions freelance consultants to deliver a range of creative and educational courses, linked towards health, social and vocational outcomes, it is then the service users selecting what activities are delivered.
